 CATHY ERHARDT | Cathy is going to take a shit in Heathcliff’s bed. Other stops on the line for this deluded, self-invested, scatological train of thought include: Cathy is going to TP Heathcliff’s house. Cathy is going to leave a flaming bag of crap on Heathcliff’s front step. Cathy is going to pace back and forth outside his place, beating her chest and flinging shit at the windows like an ape. Yeah, alright, the TPing is kind of a stretch for the theme, but if you want to argue semantics then you can get off the damn train. Nobody made you get on the train in the first place. Why did you even get a ticket if you’re so vehemently repulsed by all this talk about faeces? Cathy is an original character from a short story I wrote for a fiction writing class. She's sorta based on Cathy Earnshaw of Wuthering Heights fame, but mostly not, despite all the Heathcliff up there. |
